Last school year UIY sponsored 13 children at our English medium school in India. Of those 13 children ten were siblings of each other. This next school year that starts in June 2024. I would like to remove four of the siblings and add four other students to help some other needy students. The parents of the four we are removing should be able to pay for one child as they are still receiving sponsorship for the other child.

The 13 students sponsored during the 2023-24 school year are listed below.

This is 13 children above. #4 Sharmila and Dolly are fatherless children thus I feel we should sponsor both. But numbers 5-8 are not orphans and there are four other needy children at our school, thus I propose subtracting four siblings and adding in four other needy children for the 2024-25 school year.

I would like to tell some of each of the children and the amounts it will be for their sponsorship. The amounts I am giving for each child will cover their full school expenses for the 2024-25 school years, including school fees, transportation, books, uniforms and food at the school

1. S. Harshitha. She will be studying tenth grade this next school year, without your sponsorship her father would not allow her study in our school, but she was very anxious to be in our school so I recommended her. She was sponsored this school year by UIY for her ninth grade studies. Her 2024-25 total school fees would be $441.00

2. G. Hanna will be in ninth grade this next school year. Her mother is a baptized member of our Assembly, they are from a poor backward family. Hannah was very interested to be in our school and is showing keen interest and improvement in her studies and English language ability. Her total 2024-25 school fees would be $332.00

3. A. Krupa Sri – will be in second grade this next school year. She is a very bright girl showing alot of enthusiasm for her studies. Last year UIY sponsored Krupa Sri and her brother Vijay Raj. Her parents are not able to afford to keep both their children in our school thus this sponsorship is very helpful for them. They are from Christian background. Her total 2024-25 school fees would be $216.00

4. A. Akshaya Suvarna – Akshaya is a bright girl that will be in 7th grade next school year. She is from a devout Christian family. Last school year UIY sponsored both Akshaya Suvarna and her sister Akshaya Pranuthi. Their dad found it hard to afford both daughters in our school and is very appreciative of UIY sponsorship. Her total 2024-25 school fees would be $226.00

5. M. Struthi – Last school year UIY sponsored both Struthi and her sister Pavani. Her mother is attending a Christian church. They are very appreciative of UIY sponsorship. Struthi will be in sixth grade next school year. Her total 2024-25 school fees are $292.00.

6. P. Samson – This boy is from a poor Christian family and his parents are very appreciative of UIY sponsorship. He will be in fifth grade next school year. His total school expenses for 2024-25 are $363.00

7. B. Reshma – This girl will be in fifth class next school year, last year UIY sponsored both her and her brother Roshan. Her total school fees for 2024-25 will be $307.00

8. & 9. K. Sharmila and her sister Dolly Bharathi – These two sisters lost their father a few years back to kidney disease, he was a driver at our school. The mother is not able to afford our school fees. They are very appreciative of UIY sponsorship. Sharmila will be in ninth grade next school year and Dolly will be in sixth grade. The total school fees for 2024-25 for both of them will be $663.00.

10. R. Yahudah – This boy is going into tenth grade next school year. I immersed his father in the true Names of our Messiah many years ago before this boy was born. This family is in economic hardship this year. If UIY could sponsor him it would be a great benefit to their family. The total school fees for 2024-25 is $311.00.

11. A. Kowshik – This boy is from a believing family, his sister is also studying in our school, the father is a carpenter or mason but he is having trouble affording both children’s school fees. Kowshik will be in fifth grade next school year. They would be very appreciative if their son could be sponsored. Total school expenses for 2024-25 school year is: $309.00

12. G. Sumanth – This boy is going into fifth grade next school year, he also has a sister studying in our school, they are from believing background. The father is a teacher of Telugu language in our school, he has a false leg and can do slow walking. Sumanth total school fees for 2024-25 is: $349.00

13. N. Pramila Varshini – This is a bright girl from believing background, she will be in sixth grade next school year. Her mother is teacher in our school and has two daughters. If this one could be sponsored it would be a big help to her family. Her total school fees for 2024-25 is $381.00.

None of these children took covid vaccine(as far as I know) as government of India did not offer the vaccine to the children.

Our school is both an academic and spiritual place of learning, every day there is repetition of the Ten Commandments and the Messiah’s prayer. We have a class period each day called, “Higher Value” we teach the Scriptures, and on Sabbath many of the children come for a special Sabbath worship time from 9am to 12 noon, they also have a Sabbath school quarterly for their grade that the teacher will teach them.
